I am a 16 year old male, 6'5', 249 lbs (though you wouldn't guess it by looking at me, because I look proportionate my body is just soft), and I want to get into shape. In 4 years, I will be old enough to join the L.A.P.D., and I want to get into shape by then. I have a few weaknesses, and I would like to make them strengths. I know someone on this website can help!!

1. Running- When I run I don't cramp up, I run out of breath easily and (since I'm so tall) I run weirdly I need to work on my form, but I don't know how. How can I fix these problems?

Upper body strength- I weigh A LOT, so I can do like 15-20 push-ups without stopping, but it is really hard so I do sets of 10. What can I do at home to improve my upper body strength.

Also, I have a little bit of a gut. I can do sit-ups like nothing though.

Please don't give me answers like "Just keep on trying" I want a serious answer please! Thanks!
