Can temporarily consuming too much sugar cause Diabetes??

I am a college student and during the final weeks of the semester i was drinking too much soda...probably over 180 g of sugar. I have read somwhere it is common for the body to crave more sugar under stress and that your body tends to metobolize sugar faster due to stress. I stopped this but i feel i am diabetic. I feel numbness in my legs, dizzyness, anxiousness. I do drink a lot of water now so this is making me urinate a lot but my paranoa is making think this is polydipsia and polyuria. Is this all in my head or could this by simply over withdrawal of the sugar??
