Thread: Can I give pure honey to my 2 1/2 yr old for his bad cough due to asthma?

Hes taking all his medication for asthma but he has this persistent cough that is interfering with his eating and sleeping. I feels so bad for him.

You need to consult with your pediatrician. You cannot take medi cal advice from anyone who isn't a certified Dr. Please get him into the Dr.

I don't see any reason for not being able to give him some honey, I have very bad asthma and I usually take honey in a cup of tea when I'm sick. The cough is a different matter find out why-just call your doctor- I can tell you the more he coughs the harder it is to breath with an asthmatic. Hope he's feeling better soon
