Thread: Can a human live without a liver ?? my dad had liver cancer !?

hello every one please it's an emergency state ..
My dad recently diagnosed as liver cancer on top of chronic hepatitis B virus .. the liver show marked cirrhosis & portal vein affection .!! I'm just thinking why can't we remove the un functioning liver permanently ?? T o protect other organs and continued take the vitamins & bile salts + essential elements orally ?? please answer me
you know there's no either surgical ttt nor radio therapy !!
