Can being tall and skinny really cause a collapsed lung?

My cousin's lung collapsed, and they live in the next state over, so we can't be sure of what really happened. But my aunt called and said his lung collapsed, and it was because he was so tall and skinny. Is this really possible?

I don't mean that being tall and skinny automatically means your lung will collapse, or that's the oly reason why, but could it be ONE of the reasons why?

I would have to disagree. My son is 6 foot 7 inches and has had seven lung collapses. He has seen several specialists and all have come to the same conclusion that the spontaneous collapses do not have any underlying causes other than the fact that he is so tall and thin.
