Thread: Brackets keep falling off?

My orthodontists are really pissed at me for breaking brackets so often, and the stupid thing is, I've never broken a bracket DURING eating. And I eat all the appropriate foods. They always come off at random times of the day, usually when I'm not doing anything particular. Like once during PE, I heard a snappy sound, and I felt a bracket come loose.
It's getting really annoying for me, because my ortho doesn't believe that that's what's happening, and the fine for a broken bracket is . I've broken 15 brackets so far. And I see other people at my school who eat gum, gummies, hard candy, cookies, and their's don't come off.

So what other ways can brackets come off? It's really starting to be a pain in the ass now.
