If a patients BP is 90/50 and his pulse is 132 and his respiration's 29 what is going on. Im getting so frustrated with this! I know the systolic is on the top and that deals with the contraction of a ventricle and the diastolic is the bottom one which deals with the relaxation and i know to get the pulse rate you take the systolic minus the diastolic but now i am just like so confused. What causes the pulse to be so high, and the respiration's and if anyone has a good explanation explaining blood pressure and how it affects or deals with the pulse,it would be appreciated. Thanks!
