Thread: birth control question.?

I'm thirteen and I want to go on birthcontrol. I've always had the fear of getting raped and if it does happen and i'm on birth control, I won't get pregnant. I've told my mom this and she thinks im crazy, is there anywhere that I can get birth control pills without having a parent with me, and how much will they cost?

If that's your reason for getting it, then that is a little strange. If you want to get it, google planned parenthood clinics in your area. You can get it free. If you want to go on it for other reasons...you are sexually active, have very painful or irregular periods, that's another thing. Talk to your mom and ask her to bring you to the doctor. This way you can get pap smears and breast screenings.
