Thread: Birth control that does not make you gain weight?

Is there any type of birth control that you dont gain weight with? I dont want to get fat, or pregnant!

Is it bad that im 14? Ive been with my boyfriend for a year, love him. and Im turning 15 next month.

OK here is this issue hun every EVERY girl is different we all respond differently to the hormones in birth control unfortunately the only way to know for sure if you will gain weight from your birth control pill is through trial and error it may take you a few tries and a few different birth control pills to know which is the best for you. Consult your gyno and she or he may be able to help you choose the best pill for you. But I can tell you from personal experience as well as a few other of my girlfriends experiences (like 6 of my friends) all tried yaz and we ALL gained at least 10 pounds then we got off and lost the weight so if it makes you feel better stay away from yaz, good luck!

Birth Control doesnt exactly make you gain weight, it just reduces the amount of fat your body burns.

Good old exercise is the only way to keep it off.
