Back pain and cracking? Other weird thing?! (more details!)?

Basically I'm a ballet dancer and my back has been really stiff for a while. Then it started hurting when I bent backwards forwards, sideways and twisting. If I sit down with my knees bent and put my arms around my knees and then lean back it will crack and sometimes its painful. It cracks and crunches a lot.
Also I've noticed something really weird. If I go up to for example a kitchen counter and lean all my weight on to my hands then I get a sharp pain in the middle of my lower back, which I don't think is normal?!
What could be wrong? I just need suggestions I'm thinking of going to a doctor anyway?! Thanks!

I already do pilates as part of ballet, thanks anyway though!

Could be just because of all the movements you do. Make sure you stretch alot.

I suggest you go get some Chiropractic treatments and long therapeutic massages.

You should also start some Pilates classes. They really help your body's core and make you very, very flexible.

You can also take some supplemental magnesium and some trace minerals. Magnesium is very important for nerve and muscle relaxation and function. We lack that a lot in the modern fast food culture.
