    Another question (husband with COPD)?

I'm confused. The Dr. Told us my husband can't have a lot of 02 because it causes the carbon dixoide to build up and he can't release it.

Forgot to mention not only does he have an extremely enlarged heart, he has right side heart failure. Also one lung has shut down and other is really bad. They say getting the fluids off is helping, but his hands are still blue. I tried asking the Dr. to give us a idea of a timeline, he got upset saying he had never seen a worse chest xray in all his years of practice, and this is going to kill him. He would not answer my questions, he was rude. This is why I am coming here and asking. Is he in end stage? What can we expect. This is what we asked, dr. just got mad like we were second guessing him or something. Don't we have a right to know?
