    Age limit for braces?

I'm not keen on my teeth.. the two teeth beside my upper front teeth are wonkyish and my lower 6 front aren't that great either.
I turned down braces at a young age..which wasn't a good move on my part and wish i had.

Just wondering if it's possible for someone 20yrs old to get braces to fix their teeth, and how much it will cost? and how long it will take on average for them to work?
    i'm in the UK

Also, anyone have any ideas on teeth whitening?

they have a yellow tinge due to excess tea and coffee drinking, and whitening toothpaste doesn't do much.

    Many thanks

I got mine on the NHS, because the orthodontist believed it was not for a cosmetic purpose, that they were actually a hinderance. He adviced me I was lucky because without getting them on the NHS over all they were going to cost me around £1,500 for all of the treatments. I need mine on for three years, but others only wore them for eight months. Also, you can have your teeth zoom whitened once they are off, but the tentist will polish your teeth for you to remove brace marks anyway once they are off.
