Can i trust this person?

I started seeing a community mental health nurse at the beginning of the year, i was only supposed to see her for 2 months and then i was to be referred on but my nurse has continued to see me (8 months on). She has no plans to leave yet, she has told me that and has started giving my basic CBT (which is not her job) and has started taking me for coffee out in town to help me with my anxiety. If she is sticking around can i trust her?
I have a big attachment to her and i am scared that if i get too close then she will leave and i will feel rejected. But i know if i do let myself trust her then i can do really well in my recovery but because of my past i find it very hard to trust people. What do you think?
