Son 8yrs old penis hole is small?

I'm not sure when this occurred but my 8yr old son informed me that he was having trouble peeing a bit.

While looking at him pee i noticed that the shaft head was basically blown up a little like a balloon because his penis hole was so tiny. So while being able to pee slowly due to the hole being small the shaft blows up a bit until the pee is all out. I know he has to be seen by a urologist but he never had this problem until recently.

Does anyone know about this or experienced it ? Is this something that occurs due to penis changing or growing? He is not circumcised but never have we had any issues and he's 8.

    P.S.
Once he finishes peeing all goes back to normal.

My 6 yo was told the same thing by the doc. They want to do surgery to make it bigger. He also has cramps and blood in the urine. This doc thought of knife first. I think it's stones. We're doing more tests.

    wow

my 3yr old was complaining of his 'peepee' hurting and then this morning he started to pee blood, i brought him in and they said his pee hole was 2 small and needed surgery just to make the slit whole bigger cause his pee hole tore, thats why it had blood in it. and its called.....penile adhesions. all they do is just slit the hole, not the whole penis, look it up and see!

As a mother any doctor telling you your son needs surgery is very scary. We had to take our 3 year old to the Urologist. The doctor thought that the hole to his peepe was to small, so we got refereed to a specialist. We found out he did have a hole to small, he said it is common when you get circumsized. He said due to for the body is is not normal not to have the fore skin, so sometimes the whole just is small, it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me ... but basically he said he needed a small surgery to open it up, so they cut a small amount of tissue out to open it up. We where told right now that he is small it would heal fast... about 2 weeks or less and that it was a 10 min procedure and day surgery so he would come home the same day. We where told that we will spend more time in the waiting room than he will in surgery. It makes me sick to my stomach to think my 3 year old needs this, but from what the urologist explained if it is not done he could have pain, blood and urine could not come out as well and later when he is an adult he could have pain going pee, or pain when having relations.

So we talked about it,even though is way scary to us and to our baby, we would feel bad to not do a surgery he needs now, while it is not as painful than not do it and he is an adult and has to have this surgery and then it hurts more and the healing time is way longer. We didn't even know this could happen, but we did notice while we where potty training him it was taking a long time for his pee to come out and I had noticed the little hole was barely there but I did not think that was un normal, after all he is a baby. I even asked the doctor if he thought our son had this because he was born pre mature at 34 weeks, but he said no ,just something that happens and it was very common for boys that have been circumsized. So in short even thought it pains our hearts we are going to let them do the surgery.
