I took the picture at the InterCounties Cross Country Championships, 2008. My partner was running in the event. I think the photo was for the U15 boys race, specifically.
The event was held at Wollaton Park, Nottingham.
Technically, it was taken using a Canon 400D, with Sigma 17-70 lens, then post processing done using Photomatix, to achieve a higher dynamic range, which was then tone mapped down to a JPEG.
You are more than welcome to use the photograph for your site, with credit to “basegreen”, usage limited solely to online publication, with all rights reserved to myself. Sure you understand 
Thanks for your kind comments. I’m just back from London so will add the better ones to the pool, as well. It wasnt a good day for running photography though, with the rain, hail and crazy crowds
