What is the maximum size boat you would you match with a 9.8 horsepower outboard

motor? I have acquired a 1964 Merc 110 outboard motor (9.8 hp). I will restore it anyway, but i am boat shopping as well. My question is how big of a boat can you use with a 9.8 hp motor? I'm looking into an Alumacraft deep v style boat around 16ft. long. Whatever I buy will be for use on the ohio river and tributaries. If the motor is too small, i'll keep it as a spare. Suggestions... comments... advice?
