Thread: What kind of dirt bike should I get?

I'm a fourteen year old girl. I'm 5 feet and 6 inches. I weigh about 135 pounds. I want to get a kx 85, but my dad thinks I'll need something closer to a 125. Since I've only had four wheelers and would just be learning, I wanted to have my feet touch when I was on the dirt bike. But again, my dad thinks I'll need something a bit bigger? What size do you think I should get?

coming from a kx 85 you should get a 125. look at the yz 125's by yamaha if you want more power and grittyness and the ttr 125's for more of a fun family bike. if your gonna ride like everyother weekend get the yz. it will do you good. also you could check out the ttr 125 L. its a bigger version of the ttr 125.

250f. fast, competitive, compact machines. go anywhere kill anything. and if you dont like it ill give ya my locked up 125 :^)

I have a kx 85 and im 13 about 5 feet 2 inches and its just perfect for me but i am moving up to a 125 or 150r and i do ride the 250 4 strokes and there very smooth! so for you i would go with the 125 or 150r race bikes or you could get the honda 230 trail bike which is also nice just not as fast and not as good suspension. Also when your sitting on a bike the palm of your foot should be the only thing touching the ground and if so thats a perfect size!

Get a CRF150R Big Wheel they are a little bigger than the 85s and easier to ride

or get a TT-R230 or CRF230 they are inbetween the 250/125s and the 85/150s in size
