I'm doing a Math SL Type two portfolio for my internal assessment, and the question i have chosen is the one about the fishing rods. I have absolutely no idea how to do this. So if anybody could suggest ways on how i could outline my portfolio and show me how to do the problems, that would be great.

PS: I am not necessarily asking for the answers but more of how I should approach the questions. However, answers would gladly be accepted. Thanks.

Don't know. The suitable variables are just the x and y values, where x is the guide number 1,2,3, etc. Y is 10,23,etc. Apparently the answer to the quadratic and cubic function is an 8 by 8 matrix somehow. Use excel for question two to plot the points. That's all I have....
