Or is it similar, or not at all like that? Just curious! Had a lifelong obsession with wanting to live in America for some unknown reason, and would love to know what its really like!

Life in America is just normal life like it is here in the UK with certain little differences - not many though.

These television shows are make-believe and an escape from reality. Although the human traits are realistic-ish, living in America is nothing like those shows. It's a Hollywood story - nothing more.

America is actually like a bunch of different countries in one. All the states have there own upsides and downsides. I don't watch the shows you mentioned but no america is not like what is portrayed in fictional tv shows. but come on over anyway...we'd love to have ya.

its different everywhere, dont believe tv, they put ether to much or not enough drama and its tv. just look up the state's internet sites to find out more about america.
