No! What happened is someone saved a video from a match where they were playing in and they blew up a canister which launched a cone at the guy and hit him in the head resulting in him being killed. Bungie saw the video after it was posted on Kotaku and Bungie thought he deserved the armor after being killed in such a dumb way.
