Finding out Text amounts on Rumor by LG?

I have sent 3500 texts this month and I'm trying to watch my texts so that I don't use up my 2500 texts or however many I called in for. Anyway I know that many other phones have the ability to see how many texts you've received/sent as a whole. This ability I have not been able to find on the Rumor by LG! This is an issue, but maybe there IS some way! If there is can someone give me a step by step process on how to get to that screen? Thank you soooooooo much!
