Thread: what's the difference between a google android tablet and an galaxy tablet?

i see one for $200 and the other for $300 which one is worth it?

They are both Android tablets. But, the Google Nexus tablet will run on stock Android and will get the newest version faster (almost as soon as it get's released). But the Galaxy Tab is running with Samsung's custom TouchWiz interface so it looks less Androidish but it does include some more features than stock Android includes.

I am going to assume that you're asking between the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. In that case, the Nexus 7 is a much better tablet because it uses newer specs which makes it much faster and as said, it gets the newer version of Android faster.
