    If you receive an international phone call on cell phone, do you get charged for it?

    call was received on weekend free minutes from costa rica. verizon phone plan.

    no u will not be charged for the incoming call since it was on weekend. only if u was to call them then u would be charged.

    You never get charged for an international call, only for a received call. So if it was during unlimited minutes it didn't cost you a thing, whether a minute or a dime.

    This depends upon your calling plan. In most cases, you are charged for "minutes", and it doesn't matter if you called them or if they called you, it still counts as minutes.

    You would not, however, be charged any kind of "long distance" fees. They just used up some of your minutes.
