i opened my computer and found that the performance monitoring gadget of has disappeared all of a sudden. it's strange because all my other gadgets (my clock and calendar) were still there. i tried right-clicking on my desktop then selecting gadgets but the gadget selection window that should appear doesn't show up. i also tried to access the gadget window through the control panel and through the start (search computer thingy) and still nothing happens. everything was fine the last time i used my computer and i never even tried to do any changes to it.
