    using spy gadget to read deleated text messages?

    so i guess my girl friends dad is a cop and he has some tool to read deleated texts which have lots of very personal info and some about illegal activities that i could get into some trouble with, i think this is an illegal search and seizure but what do you guys suggest i should do beside change my phone and move to another country lol, thanks please try and save my ***!!

    Sounds like BS to scare you guys. I doubt he has anything of the sort and if he did it would be misuse of police property to invade your privacy with it.

    Who does he think he is? The FBI? Hah! I doubt he has the power to do so. There might be another way. (Maybe he knows the person your texting).

    It is your computer? If it is then you probably should have locked it.

    Regardless of it being deleted or not, if there are messages that he can read that implicates you in some illegal activities then you might be in trouble, with him, but not the law.

    He can't arrest you based on some email he read. He would either have to witness the act or have a court order for your arrest. I doubt he will get one. But that doesn't mean he won't take you down to jail (if he is a cop) and scare you to death. My dad did that to my brother when he came home drunk.


    Maybe you should bring up the situations with your girlfriend's dad. If the guy likes you he might help you resolve your past issues and respect you a bit more. If he doesn't like you then at least you will know where you stand with the guy.
