The Rapoo e9090p is an ultra thin wireless keyboard with some attractive features: an all aluminium body with dark grey brushed metal top, backlit keys with a scissor-key mechanism that provide comfortable short travel and good feedback. It also comes with a 10x10 programmable trackpad on the right side, replacing the usual numeric keypad as well as a set of configurable function keys.
The most important of the features is perhaps the wireless charging. The Rapoo e9090p comes with a special induction plate that you can plug to a USB port and charge the keyboard by just resting it on top of the plate.
This means you can use the keyboard wiressly away from your PC and have it charging when back on the desk - perfect for HTPC and meeting rooms setups, or just keep your desk clean if you use it as your day-to-day keboard, leaving it charging overnight.

The Rapoo e9090p works without any extra software install if you just want to use the default settings, or you can download the software driver to customise the trackpad and special function keys as you can see below. It is also useful as it shows each gesture so you an practice them.

The trackpack is very responsive and offers a multitude of multi-touch taps, drag and gestures options. It is fully compatible with Windows 8.1 which means you can use it with gestures such as slide from top, slide from sides or slide from bottom to execute the corresponding Windows on screen functions.
You will find an on/off switch on the back of the keyboard, but it is so thin don't actually have storage space for its nano receiver - so make sure you keep it safe when transporting it.

You can control the backlight - off, medium and high settings - by using the Fn + Tab keys combinations to cycle through the settings.
Being a 5GHz wireless keyboard it is less prone to cause or be affected by interference in other wireless devices such as Bluetooth mice or WiFi networks.*
The scissor-key mechanism means it is a very comfortable keyboard with good feedback - although due to space limitations the directional arrows and right-shift key are closely grouped together, so you need a bit of practice to get used to this position.
