Thread: Is gizmo a common pet name?

I'm getting a chinchilla and was thinking of naming him Gizmo cuz they look like gremlins (kinda). Is it a common pet name? because I don;t like common pet names

any suggestions?

Kinda... I know someone with a cat named Gizmo and my brother has a sugar glider named Gizmo too... He named the sugar glider Gizmo cause it reminded him of a gremlin too... Chinchillas and sugar gliders and the like are definitely more prone to be called Gizmo. Small and cute with big eyes and that reminds people of gremlins so, I'd think it'd get used a lot.

Yeah i would say it was common.. mostly for cats and small dogs. But i think it is a really cute chin name! But yes it is a pretty common name so you might want to find something else...

Yea, I think Gizmo is pretty common. Go to a baby name site and look up unique names. It will work. :P
