Thread: Gadgets in Windows 7 Not Working Properly?

I know it has to do with the scripts or something but I can't figure this out.

When I bring in any gadget such as the clock it appears as a black box with just the red second hand.

They stopped working longer than I can remember but I just now decided I want them again.

Acer Aspire.
I don't use the clock gadget, that's just an example of what a gadget does when I bring it on my home screen. On other gadgets they appear as just the X that exits out of the gadget. not the gadget itself.

the clock is the one I can't figure, why have an analogue clock when you have a digital clock on the tool bar, It is hidden if you use full screen, so it is just a clutter for me? it should be in sync with computer clock in BIOS?
