Do you keep your cell/mobile phone just for emergencies..or just for texting or calling?

Or do you take it to the next level and treat it like a status symbol, having more applications and functions then you'll ever use?? Just so you can impress your mates?

I just use it to text/call. I didn't even have one until my job made me get one. I'm out of the office so much they forced me to get a cell phone.

I use it more for texting than calling and whenever I get a new phone I become addicted to the game :P

I use it to call & text. I'm too cheap and too practical to have a fancy phone.
