What is a good workout routine to prepare for boot camp?

I haven't been very athletics for several years now but I have approx. 8 months to train. I understand Marine Corps boot camp has a point system on IST, with a maximum of 300 and a minimum of 100 (please correct if I'm wrong) Rather than shoot for the minimum I would like to ace it to give myself the best advantage I can get.
