Recovering from bad nutrition?

Alright, so for like 4 months I was living off of those dollar frozen dinners, trying to save money. A couple months back my hair started falling out and I am assuming it is from not getting enough vitamins in my diet.

Since then I have started eating healthier and taking vitamins everyday. My question is, will the hair grow back that has fallen out from bad nutrition in a couple months? I really hope it isn't permanent damage...

I have been to the doc, and he was no use. Took blood tests, wasn't thyroid. No Male pattern baldness in family and I am only 21, so it def is no hereditary. Only thing left is my bad diet I had a few months back,.
