The software downloads a piece of data then the software shares (uploads) it to others.

I have been caught using bittorrent due to contributing in uploading a file while I was downloading it. The thing is, you cant upload copyright stuff. but you can download it. so as long as i use ddls instead of such a public method as bittorrent and dont upload copyright stuff. All they did was suspend my service until i stopped seeding the file. Nevertheless, it feels like ill be watched over forever...

I got a letter that they acknowledged I downloaded the movie Dazed And Confused. That's it. It's the luck of the draw. Some people download 2 songs and are charged big fines, while others download 1,000's upon 1,000's of songs and never get caught. Not very fair in my opinion.
