halo 3 file share question system link?

hello i have just purchased xbox 360 and halo 3 (please don't leave comments saying halo 3 sucks GOW rules like i've gotten before) and my friend has the herioc map pack and i was wondering if you can file share over a system link because im on a wireless internet connection right now and can't get live so please answer!
