BitTorrent slow after port forwarding?

Alright, so my BitTorrent works fine when my modem and router aren't in bridge mode (consistent 70kbps) even though the symbol at the bottom says "no incoming connections."

When I have it in bridge mode it has the green checkmark at the bottom but I only get like 3kbps.

Does somebody know what going on here?

thanks in advance.
