Im a fairly good student 3.0 average, 40 class rank.

My #1 dream school is the Fashion institute of TECHNOLOGY, I'm form LI NY
I'm 16 yrs old and im a High School senor class of 2010

m young because I was beyond my level n 2nd grade... but guess im not as "smart" anymore.
I came to ths country 4 yr ago.

“Happy birthday pork chop,” is the first words I hear on my seventeenth birthday.
“Thanks.” I say to my sister, who, even though only fourteen, has only just arrived home from a night out. Her eyes are red and her bleached blonde hair that does not suite our dark complexion is teased.
I watch her stumble into her bedroom opposite mine and get a whiff of stale air and boys’ deodorant – charming. She had been such a nice girl before... before mums accident, but what happened?
And then it hit me. No, not the smell, but the fact that I was seventeen... seventeen, the day I have been waiting for forever, well a while at least. This year I was going to be the best that I could possible manage. It was the year where my dad will give me that extra trust, the year that the teachers really concentrate on, being nicer and much more helpful. It was only one more year until freedom finally revealed its beautiful self completely after lurking in the shadows for a life time. It was the year I was going to be different, not my usually totally responsible self. I wanted the year of seventeen to bring me adventure and excitement.
See, my mother died over a year ago now... it still hurts us every day, but we deal. Kayla has been using grog, dad has been over working, and up until now I have been the mother – that brings me to this new goal of mine, and it is how I am going to deal.
I trudge down the staircase and along to our kitchen. Our house was a double story and fairly modern. The light, airy feeling was what I loved about it. Its floorboards and light walls always seemed inviting, even in the darkest of times. I walked past the office, where I stopped expecting to see dad but he wasn’t there. I stayed for a moment, listening, and then I could hear, clear as day, dad on the phone. The pan was frying and I knew instantly that my favourite buttermilk and berry pancakes were cooking. I could smell each individual ingredient like they were all separated and right under my nose... it was weird, the kitchen was right down the other end of the house but it was as if everything was happening in the office, in my head, even.
With my mouth watering, I couldn’t wait any longer. The aromas, as strange as it was, were pulling me towards the kitchen and dining room.

It involves a guy that obtains a gun from a guard, rescues his woman from what look like scientist people. Then they make it surface side from whatever place they were before, and a truck attacks them. If I recall, the truck wasn't manned but computerized, and the guy shoots the truck down with his gun, but it collides with the building his woman was in. She is found safe, has a baby and that's it, what was the name of this movie?? I've checked IMDB and every other sci fi/action listing I could, only to find it wasn't part of a top 20 or whatever listing. I just remember it was futuristic looking at the time and the sequence described for the ending. Any thoughts of answers would be appreciated!
EDIT: Not Maximum Overdrive. Although a good movie, that deals strictly with homicidal vehicles hellbent on killing people. Only the end of the movie had a truck try to kill someone, the rest of the movie dealt with scientists, guns, all futuristic for an 80s movie. A peaceful and idealist alien race comes down and oppresses humanity to try and get them to "calm their emotions." People including two protagonists (Glenn and Jonathan) escape with the help of an outside society. A group of rebels is forming in great strides but due to the harsh conditions the aliens placed on them, they arn't nescessarily rational. They raid the aliens to discover they worship a god and they try to maintain as much peace as possible. The humans get a slight emotional lapse (Very complicated) and decide to attack the aliens. They go through the city, slaughtering them all, but the aliens do not defend themselves. At the top of their governmental buildings a priest finally reveals their only intention was to aid the humans in sealing their emotions (Accomplished with PURE peace, without hatred, racism, ect) , which they did. Without anger, bravery, or selfishness they could not defend themselves and also failed to comprehend barbaric violence. However the peace is now disrupted as the aliens including the priest commit suicide and start going insane. The remaining aliens leave and it is hinted that they will destroy themselves through civil war.

The protagonists and resistance move to jerusalem for symbolic purposes, because it's the heart of human religious culture, and it's a place where selfishness was at it's peak, being conquered/reconquered over 20 times in history. They create a society emulating the aliens. The book ends with a kid (8 year old) being bullied at school, but not defending himself in anger. The teacher intervenes and takes him to somewhere unknown. The end.

The symbolism is huge.

The aliens represent what could have been humanity, one of the shockers you find 1/3rd through is that they're structually similar to humans, rather, they have evolved.

Glenn represents evil, malice, and greed.
Jonathan represents compassion
And Miguel represents tolerance and balance.
