Problems with 01 BMW 325i gas tank? If it gets below 1/4 tank, it will jerk...
...and eventually die, is this common? It stopped completely and I had it towed it. The dealer said that it was "out of gas" despite having 1/4 tank of gas. The service mgr said this is common b/c this model has a saddle shaped gas tank and the gas gets stuck on the other side of the hump. I've had this car for several years and have driven it down to practically empty almost every time. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it really that common?
