How much should it cost to replace a water pump in a VW Passat 2003?
I just had a my VW Passat's water pump replaced at a dealership and it cost me $1,365. It seemed way to expensive. The labor alone was $935 just to fix this one part. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was told the dealer was the only place to get this type of work done. I just really feel ripped off and don't know anything about cars. Should I call the dealership and complain about the cost or is this legitimate costs?
