| How do I open a glove box that has a broken latch, 2001 VW Jetta?
I've tried web searches, but they all explain how to REMOVE and REPLACE a broken latch, not really addressing how to open a CLOSED glove box. The latch is off, as are the two, for lack of a better word, metal hooks and a spring. There is no way to insert (I think) a wire inside and hope to hook onto something...or is is there? A diagram of the way the latch on the VW Glove box would, at the very least, be helpful. Thanks in advance to all the knowledgeable people out there who can answer this. |
