Hi. I am planing to buy a OPEL ASTRA. I like to know about the

maintenance costs for that. Can you please me? And how much I can for 1998 model. If it's in good condition.

opel astra is a very good car to use but its very expensive to maintain. i had opel astra automatic 1998 model which was very good to drive but turned out to be very expensive to maintain.
and dont even think of buying the diesel version.
the best thing for you to do is to go to a OPEL service centre and find out the rates of frequently used spare parts like air filter , fuel filter , brake pads, radiator , headlights and other stuff. it will give you an good idea of how expensive the spares are.
if that 98 model is really good i think you can pay around 90 grand. but please do have that car checked up thoroughly by a mechanic you know or you will end up with a big white elephant.
