The fuse which serves fuel and temp gauges, wipers, washers and handrake light keeps blowing. Suspect short somewhere? Could anyone give me some pointers?

obtain a large test lamp, eg a headlamp bulb or similar and connect across blown fuse contacts, when the short is on the bulb will illuminate brightly, so, switch on wipers etc. until bulb lights, and then trace back that circuit (unplug items as nec.) until fault is found..

Yes start tracing wires there is a dead short or a cut or burnt wire or wires.It will be a hot wire that is causing ur problem.
