Thread: Does anybody know where I can buy a catalytic converter for my volvo v40 from?

Hello there,

Gypsies stole the back part to my catalytic converter on my Volvo V40 diesel estate (2001) model. I am having problems finding a new one, I searched online and can only seem to find cats for V40's up to the year of 2000, not the newer model like mine. I even looked at big companies like euro parts but they didn't do it.

Does anyone know where I can buy a back part of the catalytic converter for a 2001 model v40 diesel? I don't have alot of money and would like a second hand one or copy part if possible.

Ebay... or google it... or a scrap yard or breakers...??

just take it to a muffler shop and get them to replace it or get the size of the exhaust pipes and weld a universal one in form your local auto parts store.

go to a muffler shop any muffler shop should be able to do that kind of stuff

Go to any muffler shop and see if they have a universal one that will fit. It will save you lots of money.
