I've had my Citroen C3 for about 3 months, 05 plate. Ever since I bought the car the central locking hasn't worked too well - I have to manually open the driver's door with the key before the central locking will allow the other doors to open. A pain in the arse but I've lived with it.
At the weekend I found I was unable to lock the car via the keyfob when I returned home from a journey. As the car only has a manual lock on the driver's door this meant I was unable to secure the car. I returned an hour later and fortunately the central locking decided to work.
This morning the central locking has gone completely, unable to open the other doors once the drier door is opened manually and also unable to lock the doors. Returned later in the day, still unable to lock. The car is also now refusing to start.
To any decent mechanics out there I'm wondering (a) would the two issues, central locking & not starting, be connected and (b) what on earth could I do to resolve it?
Many thanks!
