old n 93 reg airbagirbag light showing light is on non obd how do u extinguish it please ?

some cars have a airbag bypass switch.it switches off the passenger side airbag when putting child's seats in...when its switched off it illuminates the light to let you know its off....or the trigger unit is faulty.
