I'm looking to buy a 2004 or 2005 Audi A4. The most stressful part of this decision has been the engine, 1.8T, 2.0T or 3.0? I am looking at AWD drive manual transmission cars. I hear that the 2.0T is quicker than the 3.0, but in that case, is the 2.0T that much better than the 1.8T.
I would love the input.
Also, what is the deal with the S-line? Is it worth it?
Go with the 1.8T or the 2.0T. They have a turbo which is not only faster, but is MUCH better on gas as long as you dont use the turbo in normal acceleration. Some people have told me the S-Line for those years are packages are mostly just for looks (rims, badging etc) but the real performance package is in the RS-Line. I know for a fact that the RS4 is meant for true performance.
