I’ve been paying some more attention to some of the background music lately. You might be in one piece very appreciate, later found to be a movie soundtrack, and then go to the movies. That is also a good experience. I think listens music, watch movie at home on holiday is not too bad. But if you don’t know how to copy a dvd to itunes for ipod, ipad, etc, It would be a bit of trouble.
Now more and more attention to the film music and image closely, it can be expected that this trend will continue. An excellent film, if there is a beautiful melody accompanied by is indeed memorable; in turn, a beautiful piece of music from the film color to burnish, promoting the sales of film.
Sometimes the music is just as key as the visuals to the narration, or it is fun to dance, and sometimes compilation idea sounds intriguing. And my favorite ones are as follows.
Stuck in the middle with you by stealer’s wheel (the ear-chopping scene with the cop marvin in) reservoir dogs
Goodbye horses by q lazzarus (the tuck your penis in and dance like a total trans-gender psycho song in) the silence of the lamb
I got you babe by sonny & cher (the wake up and start it all over again song from) groundhog day
Rocky’s theme (gonna fly now) by bill conti (running through the streets of philly with all the kids and then up the steps from) rocky and rocky ii
Welcome to the jungle by guns n’ roses (the violent opening scene transition in ) lean on me
Greatest love of all by randy watson (a/k/a eddie murphy & sexual chocolate in) coming to america
Singing in the rain by malcolm mcdowell (the shockingly funny rape scene in) clockwork orange
Son of a preacher man by dusty springfield (picking up mrs. mia wallace in) pulp fiction
Too young by phoenix (the streets of tokyo in) lost in translation
Where is my mind? by the pixies (the world collapsing on itself in) fight club
Under pressure by queen & david bowie (music therapy in) it’s kind of a funny story
More, Shake It Up by Selena Gomez Break It Down, Moon River by Henry Mancini, Iridescent by Linkin Park, Expecting To Fly by Emily Haines, and a lot of it. I usually download songs on my ipad, then transfer songs from ipad to mac.
Anyway, the original songs for the sound is Movie soundtrack is an indispensable part of the movie. This is not a word with lyrics as end: whether you love and do not love, all is the history of the dust.
