    toyota d4d engine vacuum pipe from ecu controlled solenoid rubber pipe to metal

    pipe to rubber pipe to plastic? the plastic pipe approx same length and bore as a biro pen ink holder can we replace this temporarely with a continuous rubber pipe as access is impossible to fit plastic pipe into rubber pipes at each end thanks

    Sure, but I wouldn't do it for the metal section, cause it's usually metal to protect that section from heat, or vibration. But the plastic part is just for stiffness.

    yes ok to do as temp repair make sue its thick walled vac pipe,cos ordinary pipe will "suck in" under engine load as put engine management light on
