are lined up correctly? After I replaced the belt I tried to start it without any thing else on (the radiator ,belts, pulleysfans ect.) I wonder if that has something to do with it

you say you replaced the timing belt?. what about the cam gear, did it turn, when you were putting the belt on?, they will move some when your installing the belt, thats what the guage hole is for. take the belt back off, alighn the crank at top dead center, turn the cam gear to the guage hole and put something like a drill bit in the hole(that will keep the cam from turning), now put the belt on and tighten the tensioner. dont forget to take the bit back out.
