...what is going on? I did put gas in that day and i may not have tightened the lid all the way, but i'm sure i did. I also think that it came on much later in the day after I put gas in. But the driving the car was fine.
Mine did that too. A week later the starter went out. But the scan idea at autozone is probably a good idea so you know for sure what the problem is. That way you don't buy something and have it be something else. Good luck.
Take the gas cap off and put it back on. Might correct the problem. If not, take the car to Auto Zone and they will scan the codes for free and tell you what is probalby the problem.
