Thread: Brake Line replacement on a Kia Sportage...?

What's an average cost for the major brake line to be replaced on a '98 Kia Sportage? I'm in NY and just curious cause the price I was quoted was ridiculous. I understand the parts are less than 0 bucks and it's all labor that I'd be paying but 600 seems like a lot.

It's the main brake line.

i know the line your talking about ,why they are charging so much is the process of bleeding the brakes back out on this one,it has anti lock brakes and they bleed different than other brakes do,but that is kind of high that job should normally cost around,300 to complete unless they found other things wrong with it,good luck.
