    Windows live movie for DVD?

    i want to watch a movie on my laptop (Toshiba, windows 7) and when i insert the dvd in to play this windows live movie player i think its called? plays my movie. I want to change it, because its really slow and it screws up most of the time, can i download something for this? or do i have a lot of options on my laptop to play a DVD but not on the one that originally plays it?

    First try different movie player. You can download VLC and AlShow for FREE. They both have all codecs pre-installed so you know all disks will work with them. Here are the links to download it:
    - VLC free download @ http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
    - AlShow free download @ http://www.altools.com/ALTools/ALPlayer.aspx
    Just left click links and you'll be there.
    If you have same problem watching movies in these players that means that your DVD drive is bad and needs to be replaced. You either replace your DVD drive if it is faulty or just buy external DVD drive and connect it to your laptop. External DVD drives are plug and play - you don't need any driver just connect it to your laptop and it works.
    If your laptop is still under waranty than contact manufacturer - they must fix that for free.
